Chris Isaac's voice brought to life the emotion of the song and the inflections were perfectly timed with the music.
This cover is the best one out there.

My wife loves Stone Sour and made me sit through listening to this the first time...
You know what it's like when you come into listening to something that you have a preconceived notion of, thinking "this is going to suck", just because you aren't familiar with the artist, or are not a fan of the artist.
My wife's "free pass" is Corey Taylor...
That's why I'm not such a big fan of his!!

But this is an amazing rendition of one of the greatest songs ever. I take my hat off to artists who can execute and bring their own style into a cover, and I will be giving Stone Sour another listen because of this song.
