For example the whole depiction of police brutality and making it seem like they're some racist bad guys right? ..again, GTFO; not pointing any direct fingers, but you really want some damn eye openers? Different race categories of people commit the vast majority of crime in comparison to others and guess what? NO, it's not just because of muh "racism", the same trends can be found within the countries where people's stock are originally found where they are the majority, and not just that, heck literally more White people die at the hands of police every year, but nobody talks about that because it's inconvientent. Retarded media shows over and over again some 10 sec clip about some people not following basic orders from a police officer and that get's people triggered. Anyways, I'm just ranting now, STYG have gone way too far on the shitty sjw crap and don't know near as much as they think they do. They're just a bunch of self-hating nihilist white dudes and I just hate when bands/members turn this way. I'm sure they're nice dudes at the end of the day, but prolly way more closed minded than they think. Okay everybody chill I'm a stout republican but absolutely love styg and most other hardcore bands out there. I don't think just because you have a certain political view you can't like a certain genre of music. Most genres are liberally influenced and that's fine by me. I think, just as styg does, that everyone should be themselves and not let the masses change who you are. Now let's see how many people tell me I'm out of my mind for liking this band because my views might differ from theirs.

Heard these guys for the first time yesterday when they supported parkway drive on their UK tour. And they sound just as good live. I think I have found a new favorite band :)

Its amazing to see people fight and argue of something as simple and common as music. Its suppose to be a message, but its you, the viewers, that turn into, well, this. All of you make it seem like theres no hope.

I still have not seen these bands address Black on Black crime, notably in terms of murder. Blacks murder each other FAR more than police do. No one cares about this though, business as usual.

A flag is a piece of cloth essentially. Interpretations on flags can differ, however if you're personally offended by a piece of cloth on the ground, then I feel kind of sorry for you to be honest. I understand, that the flag represents patriotism and a sense of nationality. But it also represents toturing prisoners in Guantanamo, treating prisoners in Iraq like naked dogs, invading countries with no proper evidence. So yes, you can be proud of your flag and all that it stands for - but don't forget that this flag is dirty because everyone drags it through the dirt. Even you, when you use it to empower yourself in an argument. And tell me - why is the US the greatest country on this planet? Greatest by size? Greatest by politics? Greatest by the people living on this piece of earth?

I really like this song, but I lost interest in the video as soon as I saw the flag touching the ground. It's just a really big pet peeve of mine. I personally feel this song is highlighting a wider range of problems in
the world like racism, violence and the oil industry, but definitely
the fat guy eating the burger and lines like "sometimes the things we
love are the things we need to leave" give that vibe. But I agree that going
vegan is the most important thing in the world right now.

Saw Stick To Your Guns with Blessthefall, Oceans Ate Alaska, and Mercedes Avenue at Ace of Spades in Sacramento. Highlight of STYG was his speahces. Best yet; the crowd, the music. STYG is fucking amazing. IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THEM LIVE; WTF ARE YOU DOING??

Some ppl are COMPLETELY missunderstanting the meaning of the song, that in my interpretation say that he prefer to choose a side and fight for a cause, than be static and sit on the fence... better ash than dust can be about he prefers to be burnt, be crucified, be criticized, be judged by ppl, than do nothing and end up dead, turned to dust in another common grave... he choose to fight and be burnt if it needs to... even the final speech talks about being an artist, and raise a flag, do something. And finnaly, at the end of the day, WHO WE ARE to judge if one's belief is 100% righ or wrong? We CAN'T choose what ideals a man choose to defend and pursue in his life, we must choose our own ideals and fight for them, and that's what STYG is doing, doesn't it?
