it was one of the first albums recorded for the at that time new CD. it sounds so electric. but never the less a great album. but to beat 'the key' or hotter than july is almost impossible

Stevie Wonder is indeed one of the greatest artist of all time. Just watch videos of him beating drums at a very young age and you will be amazed. This song has always been an inspiration to me because of its underlining message. Too often we over help people. Then there are those who burden you with helping them with everything.. chores and all, when much of these things they can do for themselves. In the sunny days of peoples lives, they can help themselves...they will be alright. Our humanitarian efforts should only come during the pouring rainy/storms of peoples lives. But don't stay around- "til the end of time", as they would want you to. Well done Stevie.

are you sure?  Because cornrow beads were an actual thing in the 80s. I've never heard of coraled beads? Coral beads perhaps, but I definitely hear a "d" sound in the lyric. Hrmmm

@inasez yeah, coraled. I was in my late teens when this album was released. I remember writing all the words out and specifically trying to figure out that line. This song is time less. I was "in love" with an older girl at the time. This song killed me but I loved it. Still do...
