I remember when Steve Wariner was "new country" and a young gun. But, while he pushed the bounds of country music, he has never betrayed its principles. That's why he is a member of the Grand Ole Opry. You don't make it to that level without being true country (especially in those days!). He has always produced a wonderful musical product.
