This song always reminds me of my ex. I broke off my engagement with her years ago for reasons I'm still unsure of (either boredom, naivety or a combination). Since then, I've been through all sorts of emotional turmoil about it - mainly guilt and depression.
Fast forward two years and I'm in an acting course, where I've to create a movement piece about a poignant/cathartic part of my life.
I think this is the song for me.

The scream at 4:07 just gave me chills.

When I first listened to this song, I dismissed it at the 1 minute mark as "not that good". Now that I've fully absorbed it, I can appreciate it for what it is. That scream was amazing.

This one really is the hidden masterpiece of the album

I don't know about you but from minute 3:23, it looks like an anime song about a fight in which the protagonist gives all his power (like in Dragon Ball) or in which someone falls into an abyss.

Everyone's talking about the scream at 4:07, meanwhile I'm here just gawking at the amount of tragedy that builds up to it from 3:10 onwards. The way those drums suddenly stop and the piano enters makes it sound so lonely. Perfection.

My Humanities Professor said to pick five songs to do a project about. Two of my songs are by Starset and this is one of them. He told us to do easy stuff the first day, and today he said to find the pattern in the music. And let me tell you, THERE IS BARELY A PATTERN FOR THIS SONG. MY ROOMMATES THINK I'M CRAZY BECAUSE I KEEP SCREAMING AT THIS SONG! My Professor said he wasn't going to listen to all our songs we picked, but once he sees my breakdown of this song he's going to think I'm insane. Hopefully I get a good grade on this project.

Usually, I hate screams in songs but.. this one in particular is an exception, it blends so well to the instrumentals that it doesn't become an absolute pain to listen to.
