Right on key, but somehow completely tone deaf. Even I as a devout non-believer in any form of christianity, can enjoy the original for its tone in dealing with the subject matter. Its an honest depiction of someone imagining the end of days. This, on the other hand is utter crap.

You say it makes you feel kind of unworthy. Well you are not kind of unworthy you and I are totally unworthy that is why Jesus died because we could not do it!! That is where grace comes in, grace is simply this... the undeserved unmerited love of God towards us. Christ died for the ungodly. So what does that mean. It means if you think you are Godly, Christ can not help you because you will be depending on yourself instead of his sacrifice. Beautiful version of a beautiful song.  But Jordon, the graphic is very misleading as it implies you performed the version in the movie "Left Behind" and that version is clearly performed by a male artist.

Ok but the original is with Kirk Cameron 2000 I got my box set at a bible book store. I thought she sung it in the remake I maybe wrong. The original is good to me it's a 3 part. You should check it out

Heard this for the first time in 1970's with the movie A thief in the night.  I was 8 years old, later that year, I gave my life to Christ becoming a child of God.  "Left Behind" (2014) I viewed with my son who is not yet in the Kingdom.  It provided opportunities for discussion and I shared with him my history of this song.  Please stand in agreement with me that the my son's heart will receive the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  ~Good Job on the song Jordin.

It's ok, we all have that awakening when we realize we strayed. Maybe this is her awakening to stay on the path....her first love. The only ones who should recognize what has happened to her and be ready for reconciliation are those of the household of faith. People who think this song is written by her & is a horrible song, this song was written or first came out in like 1969- it is NOT written by her, she just did a cover of it for the "Left Behind" movie. One time the church I grew up in played this in a drama they did.

@Joy Coder This is NOT an old song.Lipit-Ishtar, now that's old. I was 10 in 1969 and Upon this Rock was one of the first albums I bought. I still think the album cover was kind of silly and the best one can say about Norman's singing is what Willie Nelson said about Kris Kristoffersons... :) 

@Walter Jones Lol. Well it is kinda to me because I'm so young-ish (21 almost 22), my mom was 9 when it came out. Don't get me wrong, it is still a good song. I often find myself listening to oldies from the 50's-60's. What did Willie Nelson say about Kris Kristofferson's singing? (I like both of them so I kinda wanna know)
Growing up we watched a lot of the older classic Disney movies(Old Yellow, ect) & older TV shows (Beverly Hillbillies,Little House on the Prairie, Petticoat Junction ect) because my mom didn't care for the modern movies/tv shows, so we watched a lot of shows she did growing up.

This is a pretty song but..
'the rapture' is a hoax. Seems to be based on Matt 24 verses 'one will be taken and the other left'. In context, it is clear that Jesus was saying that to be left behind is a good thing :) Take a look- Noah was left behind by the waters of the flood, the thief who comes at an hour you do not expect, steals and takes away some stuff to - who knows where but a thief's den can't be a good place !

Paul Goodwin wo wo I would really go back and study those scriptures carefully, cause no Jesus did not say it is good to be left behind, why would he leave you behind to go through the worst tribulation that man kind has never seen before? You really need to study Bible carefully my friend if you really believe of what you said.
