@Ken Dac doctors had me on oxycontin for years, had one withdrawal and went to my doc asking for a 1 month supply to get off them, took 3 weeks but I weaned myself down and had oxy to spare.

To wean down, I would crush the pills and snort them, less bioavailability when taken that way. I'd just keep cutting doses in half every time I felt the need come on.

On the third week I just tried to see how long i could go without any, so went 4 days with nothing and thought I had it kicked, so I partied one last time because waste is evil lol, and it's been about three years since. Doc gave me some hydrocodone for a knee injury and I've taken a few but I can't see myself ever enslaving myself to opiates again. Pain don't hurt! You got this!
