Zombot sadly when you sign a record contract and the record company hears something that's selling they will encourage the band who is under contract to write a song like that so record labels are really to blame for the Shitty Direction your favorite bands go into.

Cheers man. I know them all, I listen to hundreds (literally) of new albums every year and I'm just very upset with bands changing their sound like that. I know the guys are going to tour the US this year and maybe that's the reason they made songs like this one but... come on, this is not the way. I don't even understand the fans who like this new sound. It's Nine Lashes all over again, changing from awesome alternative metal to pop rock.

@followfornothing - I guess that might be the reason, but I can't really say it out loud, because I don't want to believe this is the reason. I think it might be because they are going to tour the US and think that's what they love out there.

@Zombot Watch the intro to Chimaira's DVD "The Dehumanizing Process" you will understand it a bit more. When Mark Hunter (Vocalist for Chimaira) starts speaking he is talking about record labels basically making bands write a song that sounds like another band because that band is more successful and Mark goes on to say well Fuck you, we're not that band.
