I so loved this show.. what a concept.. tv promoting broad way sad that it ended but at least it was a happy ending and even an ending because most show that are canceled leave you hanging..

Smash had such amazing songs, I mean all of them were absolutely incredible. This show had such a short life because of the script, and its a shame we can't hear more songs like this!

I loved the script too. there were some strange things - too much double crossing and intrigue.

I'm having a lot of feelings over this after browsing old smash vids. UGH. I loved their voices together. 

And you can totally see Derek's heart breaking at the end...

That moment when two voices blend together perfectly...however I wish the song ended with a soft trailing "go," it almost sounds incomplete.

along with Don't Let Me Know, this is one of the songs that I adore from Smash.

omg, just looked around after reading one of the comments here and found out NBC has cancelled SMASH! Boooooo!!! Just goes to show, the surest way to get a show cancelled is to actually like it. I cannot believe they would cancel such a wonderful show just so they can make another cheap, stupid reality show.

What my wife and I are wondering is, how many new musicals can one TV show launch? 2 so far,and I am fairly sure they WILL go to Broadway. I just pray the company can keep a stream of shows of this quality flowing. Seems that, sooner or later, they are going to have to slip in a dud just to "keep it real". Show what happens when a show dies.
