Small Faces - I Feel Much Better Lyrics
Easy and lazy we go
It seems so hazy and slow
(Shoop shoop duweddy weddy)
Long before the long before we know
Times were so high they were low
I'm only writing the rhyme
Don't find me taking my time
Please pass me my glass of wine
I feel much better
I feel much better
I feel much
(Shoop shoop duweddy weddy)
Please feel aat home to come and go
(Shanga langa langa dulang)
Easy and lazy and slow
(Shoop shoop duweddy weddy)
Smiling so nicely to know
(Shanga langa langa dulang)
Winds of good fortune must blow your way
These things won't come in a day
These things are coming to stay
There's really not much to say
I feel much better
I feel much better
I feel much
(Shoop shoop duweddy weddy)
Slowly

Small Faces I Feel Much Better Comments
Like whoa, Ronnie!
Effing A!
This Soooooo good
Giants!
The Small Faces are, I think, the biggest gem hidden behind all those super-famous bands from the '60's like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and the Kinks. Every time I hear their music, I am just astounded by it and ask myself why they were never super huge. I suppose there was just so much competition back then. The passing of Steven Marriott received none of the coverage like with Lennon. I found out about it in passing in a conversation in Japan in a bar years after. That news hit me in the chest somewhat. The brilliance that shines from this band deserves greater recognition. This is one of my favourite Small Face's songs.
They were never bigger because of poor management (or "mismanagement" - a classic group who were so good individually and so tight collectively. RIP all but Kenney
Agree...I spent two decades selling people on the Kinks...now they seem to get their credit to a degree, I need to sell more folks on the Small Faces!
His death was such a tragedy.
RIP Steve and Ronnie. You were great and your music still is!
The guys who sang My Sharona definitely heard the second half.
Love the power-chording that kicks in at 2:45!
shoop shoop do waddy waddy indeed! God Bless Stevie! left us way too soon.
the opening 9seconds sounds like T-Rex before T-Rex became known....great bassline
Best B side ever.
love itttttttttt
I bought a cd for tin soldier, itchycoo park and lazy sunday. Yes, the song is quirky but I find myself wanting to hear it more and more.
No finer band in my opinion
I just realized the "B" Side version is longer....has additional lyrics that the US There are but Four Small Faces album.
I love the Small Faces. A brilliant musical time and underrated to this day.

great song of a legendary band
What is B-side?
Tin Soldier on Side A. I Feel Much Better on Side B.
Saved me having to look it up, cheers!
Underrated B-,side, underrated band.
They should be awarded 'LEGENDERY' status.
I Feel Much Better has one of the heaviest tracks/endings for that time ... hidden at the end of a quirky, almost unlistenable B-side song ... until you get to 2:46 ... and then ... WHAM ... C'MON BABY! This is a rock ending that deserves recognition. The fake ending is a little annoying when you're rocking air guitar, but, hey .. it was the 60's!This does pre-date Zed Zeppelin by 2 years, and I never made the connection to their sound, but I agree. I can hear it now, and that just mkes this song so much better. Thanks for that! Also, I'm pretty sure that the Minions recorded the backup vocals. They really stand out at 1:27 ... shanga langa langa dulang ... yup ... that's them .. pretty sure ... :-)
Almost unlistenable your ass, it's great
Best time to listen to this song is after a phenomenal night of getting it on!
Ah, old memories of the late Nineties...
Rest peacefully, Mr. McLagan.
The Ronnie Lane side of Small Faces is exemplified in this is song up until 2:46, when the Steve Marriott side of the band takes over.
@***** He was second fiddle (or maybe third given Ron Wood?) to Rod Stewart in Faces as well. I take it Ronnie was most content fronting Slim Chance than he was in a lesser role with the two major bands that he was a member of.
@Stephanjnj Gosh! You're absolutely right! Both are pretty cool though. That's why I have always loved the SFs.
I love the Small Faces
Just still amazingly brilliant and have original. B sides always good but this is ....fantastic
I just love this song...they could play most of the Small Faces today as they are as fresh as yesterday...shoop shopp
mmmm...this is not the same B-side as I have backing Tin Soldier.
My 45 is the Stateside verion.
The version I have has a bass intro
lol. dang
WHAT? WHAT DID HE SAY? THE COMMENT IS DELETED! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I remember a girlfriend I had at the time and she did a seriously sexy dance to this - I've loved it ever since it came out - it was on the juke box at the Exeter University students union building, Devonshire House, and I played it every day!
@Khultan you cant say that, man. zep is probably the biggest band of all time.
@EdiblePlanets Love it!!
@EdiblePlanets I heard they Trampled Under Foot.
hard to believe that these guys were real and i didnt exist to see it.
this was way before zepplin...but now you know where zep got their sound...listen to the last minute and a half.....zepzepzepzep all the way
Haha, canadumb.
@kingalow1 Yeah?, you CanaDUMB.
@kingalow1 Zeppelin is not in their league. And you're a moron, just stating facts.
Proto-Zeppelin. Just sayin'
Steve loved to get his shoes in a shot
SASSY Self Assured Soulsters Striking Ya. That's my impression of Small Faces.
@slant40 Here here
Luv that bass line
Luv the shoop shoop
So nice : )
Immediate ZS7 5003 (3:55) One of the greatest B-sides ever cut - an earthshaking bass line, and a groove that just won't quit - PLUS a fake ending; they don't get much groovier than this one
pure class
