What can i say. Good song, but i miss punch. Sounds like its recordet at a semi-proffesional home studio and worked to mutch With effects on a computer. Its kind of flat. As i have heard by more and more bands recently. I know studio time is expensive. But sometimes it's Worth it. I would even pay kickstarter for slaves to get a really good studio for recording...

At one point he reaches an A4, the A above middle c which is pretty high for a male voice.

I love Jonny's voice, but this mix kills this song for me, for example the drums are so powerless.

I believe it was to save time they just repeated the same section. It does it on the chorus at the end, Jonny sings so clear instead of more clear, but rather than remake a section it was just reused to save time making the video

Jonny's voice is so wonderful. which makes it more and more depressing every time he puts out something with sub par instrumentals and lyrics

@Charminions Any sources? I'm almost 100% sure he wrote all of his lyrics in Emarosa, so I would assume he would've done the same in DGD.

@DrumsAndMetal There are some instrumental parts that aren't bad, but the production is awful imo. I also can't stand the drum samples, which was a problem I had with Through Art We Are All Equals.

Sadly, I agree. The band is very boring and repetitive. But Jonny's voice is still magical, and some of his lyrics still have that dark quality from his time in Emarosa. For example, " I never knew love, because Happiness is fair".
