ofcouse I'm still listening, this song is sentimental, I always play this to my 1 year and 3 month old daughter and she would just calm down and listen (ofcourse the volume is really soft). I hope she's doing fine now. This always leaves me teary eyed, may it be acoustic or not.

Just recently discovered this band, and I'm surprised. I'm not really a fan of most "metalcore" bands, but I like this song, as well as some of the older material that I've listened to by them. The only metalcore bands that I listen to aside from these guys is August Burns Red, The Amity Affliction, and We Came As Romans. Other than that, I'm more of a deathcore guy when it comes to metal. Solid stuff here.

instead of calling his voice a label like "girly", lets open our mind and acknowledge that there are many guys with higher pitched voices out there as well women with lower pitched voices, which doesnt make them "manly". There are different voices out there.

I think his accent sounds a bit annoying in bring me a war but I still love it. Not as much as this song though

ASD doesn't even compare to their other albums, I hate to say it but they are too damn repetitive and I find it ironic that Find A Way addresses this. And honestly, Brian White's scream made this band, it is just lackluster without his voice, he was the Lead in most songs according to my ear.

This song is kinda boring to me. I know A Skylit Drive can do better. This song just seems like a let down to me. Its a good song but they could have done way better. Just saying.

Holy crap what happened to a skylit drive? I've been listening to these guys for 6 years now but what's up with this? I know they can do better than the generic sound & lyrics like this. The whole "don't pray for an easy life but for the strength to press on" type of quote is like the oldest line in the book. I loved everything from She watched the sky to Identity on fire, but I'm just not digging this as much. But that's just my opinion. Still a good band overall.

Not to be a jerk, but it's just terrible.
It's a generic "hardcore" rock band trying to pull off generic lyrics BOTDF would do. It's just awful. Like "These silhouettes", except A Skylit Drive got famous.
For those saying it's metal, it's not. No where near it. It's a post-hardcore rock band. r-o-c-k band. The music industry is large, but god damn educate yourselves on the GENRE of music.
Granted they spend more time with their lyrics than the actual song, I can see why so many teenage fans (guys or girls) say that they were "Saved" by this band. Or any other post-hardcore rock/emo band.

And since this is YouTube and fan boys and fan girls don't tend to react "calmly or maturely", I know I'm going to be flooded with one sided arguments and hate.

By this point in time, riffs are just there to be serviceable, imo, it's all about who does it better, and I really can not bring myself to hate a band for riffs unless it's -really- lazy, I.E Asking Alexandria.
Also, don't pull the music theory stuff, makes you look like an ass in all honesty.

@DeadofPool I was talking about the general style of the lyrics. Powerful yeah, but generic. You've heard it in some metallica songs or chevel by then. Just old lyrics with a new kick. Not saying it isn't good, just that we've seen it before.

And yeah Asking Alexandria does have boring breakdowns. Their old stuff yeah was pretty decent
, but now? Not really.

Musicians are supposed to bring something new to the world. We just keep getting repeats of things people have already done.
