I hadn't heard this, despite being a fan for a few years. One day, on my way to see my Auntie Ann who had cancer, this auto-loaded as I was riding down the A11... I made it through almost two lines and then played it on repeat about three or four times.
I am not afraid to admit that I cried.

This song is so relatable.. Being in the army in a combat arms MOS I'm away most of the time from my family, friends and girl. I hate missing out on all the things I miss out on, and you can only trust and hope they don't leave your side. Beautiful song.

I've always enjoyed this song, because it's beautiful, but I've always thought of it from the perspective of a Musician; they're on the road all the time, so they have to be away from their ones they love.

Then it dawned on me while I listened to it earlier; tomorrow is Veterans Day... Imagine this song with a montage of men and women in the Armed Forces, deployed and having to be away from their partner.

Those who serve give up a hell of a lot for us. I'd personally thank each and every one if I could. <3 :)

Just stay is one of my favorite songs. Im not sure how to describe it though why i like it is a mystery.

this song means so much to me. the first time listening to it, it made me cry so much haha it was horrible but isnt that what good music does? every time i hear it i see every person ive left behind on purpose to hurt but i always want to go back even though i know things may not be the same and i have to deal with so maybe i might have a chance at it again in another life. i know what ive done has hurt those around me and theres nothing i could do but ask for forgiveness because i really need those people in my life and i wish i never did push them away. in the end i think thats what love is. why fight for it when its already too far lost it.....

This song makes me think of why I want to become a therapist. I want to help people just like few of my own therapists did. I want to be able to be the light if their world seems shrouded in nothing but upset and darkness. I want more people to want to keep pushing through the terrible so they can see how far they came years from then. This song is beautiful.

Well considering how absolutely amazing this song is, it's a perfect choice for a wedding dance.
For me it's between this song, Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace, and Do You Wanna Dance by The Ramones.
