Skyharbor - Chemical Hands Lyrics
Drowning in chemical seas
Trying to cleanse the memory
A proof of life
Deprived of all senses
Pull me in synthetic hands
Bury all the past within
Denial is the symptom
Choke the words
Breathe it in
Bleed the veins of life again
A nihilistic vision
Drifting on starlight
Crash down on me
I'm on a search for truth...
Illusions to swallow
Halos become the noose
Deprived of all senses
Embrace the nothingness
Pull me in synthetic hands
Bury all the past within
Denial is the symptom
Choke the words
Breathe it in
Bleed the veins of life again
A nihilistic vision
Senses all deprived
Erase and sanitize
Promising new life
To let go
Digging up the extramental...
Senses all deprived
Erase and sanitize
Promising new life
To let go
Enchained to ground
I'll never fly again
With crystal eyes
I am entombed within delusion
I fall again
Reflections haunting
The broken melody
Of my shattered heart
Senses all deprived
Erase and sanitize
Promising new life
To let go

Skyharbor Chemical Hands Comments
Everything they put out before the sunshine dust actually released had me so hyped but I listened to the album and never bought it and I've been on a massive tesseract run ever since hahahahaha
I know that the song is different now, but please PLEASE never take this video down. I LOVE this version.
It's on spotify this version of it
What is different about it? It sounds like they redid the guitars. I can't remember too much of the original other than the ending vocals still crushed.
@Cale Toews Really? Outside of the chorus and parts of the bridge, the song is totally different! I love both and I'm glad they're keeping both up.
@Derek Steinke yea I didn't even realize I was on a diff link and commented before listening
Did they actually remove chemical hands music video?
It's unlisted here's the link /watch?v=Dv3njIwtAmk
@Steven Mertz yeah man it's unavailable to watch
Why did they remove it?
Not at all
This version is better than what ended up on the album

I agree that this version isn’t fully polished, and I’m glad that others are able to enjoy the album. I’ve given it many listens, and it just doesn’t work for me. Perfect for Periphery fans I suppose. I’m still grieving my expectations for this album lol
I prefer the verses on the album, but the build to the end is way better on this version IMO.
Exectly, I didnt get the point at all.
This is simply a very non-standard form for songs that I think the new label had them restructure it for the album. The milder start, though boring for a lot, is exactly what made the last verse so hard-hitting and powerful. Last verse sounds bland in the album version. So, hit & miss in both regards. That said, I do like Synthetic hands, too.
Probably because it's what you listened to first. I started listening to Skyharbor after Sunshine Dust, and to me that version of this song is far superior. The mix, the vocals, and also the bridge before the chorus (where he screams in the newer version) just makes it so much better in my opinion.
Yo this song is dope. cant wait for the new album.
