Sinatra, Frank - Bonita Lyrics
What can I say to you, Bonita, what magic word would capture you
Like a soft salacious mist you are, Bonita, you fly away when love is new
What do you ask of me, Bonita, what part do you want me to play,
Shall I be the clown for you, Bonita, I will be anything you say.
Bonita, don't run away, Bonita.
I love you, I tell you, I love you, I love you, Bonita.
If you love me, life would be beautiful, Bonita.
I love you, I tell you, I love you, I love you.
If you love me, life would be beautiful, Bonita.

My God! You are in everywhere when we can find out a good music! Do you really know all these lyrics? Thanks for posting!
Sinatra and Jobim had a special rapport and worked together very well, with mutual respect! Both, great talents! (Bonita means pretty, lovely, beautiful -- depending on how you use the word.)
I’m a huge Frank man have been since a very young age! Love all of em but Bonita was always my favourite strange selection out of soooooo many beautiful songs from him but the bossanova always struck accord, the arrangement is pure Sinatra master class!
Increible la canción y la interpretación
I'm Sorry To Say This; Because Frank Sinatra Is One of My Top Favorite Singers, and Antonio Carlos Jobim Is Also One of My Favorite Song Composers : But, This Is The Very Worst Song I've Heard Frank Sinatra Sing In All My Life. And Also The Very Worst Song I Know of Antonio Carlos Jobim. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. BOTH WORDS & MUSIC.
Tom Jobim, The King of Everything!!

Raphael Malanconi - Thanks for posting this marvelous song! However you have a very bad error in the lyrics that totally ruins the message here. It is not like a soft salacious mist but like a soft evasive mist! Was this an honest mistake or were you being vile?
Revised
the greatest singer and the greatest composer,it is a sin that they did not more records
Ingo R. For what i heard in a Jobim's documentary there was a second record. It was ready. But Sinatra decided not to release it. I think this songs belongs to that second album.
@Yenia Rivarola yes . Sinatra released it then stopped to release . İn 1971 Sinatra made a album "Sinatra- Company" and it contains 7 song from the second album. Other 3 song Sinatra released in some compilation albums
The two of them together: SUPERB!
The collaboration of two 20th Century musical geniuses....... Incredible results....
what results?
Cadu Riccioppo result is the song : bonita and other songs
but, arent they, bonita and the other songs, song, and not result? dont ya think?
Don't forget the genius of Claus Ogerman, the arranger and orchestrator of this... RIP, Claus. §
Left off the "unfinished" LP, beautiful hypnotic cut...Sinatra and Jobim really worked and Sessions, with everything they did on it, is a must have....
Amazing! The best of Sinatra and Jobim! Thanks for post!
What a pity he messed up one of the phrases ! §
robin blakeman ???????

Beleza!
Sinatra sings Jobim....omg...so awesome..so wonderful...so beautiful...I love it!.I love Bossanova....I could listen forever!
Oh god why didn't they do more then 2 albums ?
I'm reading the "Chairman of the board" by James Kaplan (Highly recommend) as well as the first one "the voice"
In one part of the book it's 1961 and Sam Giancana had basically bought out Kentucky and Illinois and a few other states so that JFK could win, Sinatra had facilitated this, since the Kennedy's din't want to make contact directly.JFK just got in to the White house and Bobby Kennedy was (As Attorney general) still pursing Organized crime.
Giancana felt betrayed and he was ready to put a hit out on Sinatra since he felt like he was double crossed by Sinatra and the Kennday's
Giancana is making love to his girlfriend while Sinatra is on and he said to him self how can he kill someone who has such a beautiful voice
You should ask " WHY DID THEY DIE?"
Classics nigga
oh brother. this is a strong piece of art. look who finds bonita and sings it. he listened for the best in music then did the best he could do with it. frank and tom, what a team.
Sinatra and Jobim; masters of not just art , but high art, culture and sophistication exemplified on this cut.
Yes, he did listen for the best, that he wished to perform. He received a LOT of songs, demos, that people wanted him to record, but he chose what was best for his voice and talent. He was rarely wrong!
This song is a mood masterpiece. A beautiful blend of music and voice with a tempo that is practically hypnotic. This is a bossa nova classic. btw, I would like to make a correction on the date of the sessions. You posted 1979, but it is really 1969 that this song was recorded.
Hell yesss sets the mood easy
You are correct, Sinatra and Jobim recorded this Feb. 11 and 12, 1969, among others in their work together. In fact, Sinatra had an album with Jobim in 1967 and more after that. They had a great mutual respect for each other's music, with Sinatra enjoying Jobim's subtle bossa nova beat. Jobim died 4 years before Sinatra passed away. Loss of two very gifted talents.
ADOROOOO !
Luciana Motta hello bossa nova is
