A fan since '72? I remember watching this concert.......but can't recall the first number. I think she came out onto the stage alone & began playing......and one by one the other members of the band joined her. Never could find a clip of that performance on YouTube though. Come to think of it.......I believe that first song was 'Close to the Sun'. Maybe it's up by now....I'll have to check.

Oh the lovely and melodious Carly Simon.  She's a legend in our time.  Good song that she wrote in about fifteen minutes while waiting for the legendary Cat Stevens to pick her up for a date - so the story goes.  What an impressive singer/songwriter for our times.  Her music always makes me feel great!  So much thanks.

Carly Simon one of the most prolific artist - incredible voice.  Wish there were more women singers like her today.  I saw her when she came to Northern California in the mid 90's. LIVE singing and she sounds just like her recordings --the range of her vocals.....  Thank you for your music!!
