My mom always had a CD of several of his songs. We have never been a religious family in the slightest. My mother was Protestant and my father was Roman Catholic but they both gave up on their religions. We were raised generally as Atheists, yet we always had this CD. My mom would play it one day every week when we would pull up the curtains and clean the house. These songs still make me think of those times ☺️

I played this CD to death at the Christian bookstore where I used to work. One of my coworkers told me this particular song was a remake of an old country song by Carl Smith from 1950 called "I Overlooked an Orchid While Searching for a Rose". I'm glad they reworked it!
