What happened for you to go from writing mostly love songs to someone who only sings about pain?

Well she got cancer and her band kicked her out, but yes I prefer her love songs

don't you quite like the diversity? I personally think that this is somewhat the "upside down" version of He is We. and it's absolutely beautiful.

I think it is good but it's depressing, I couldn't relax to it but I appreciate that that's obviously not why everyone listens to music.

Rachel got cancer and it was right before a tour :/ she was much to sick to go on tour with the rest of the band. The band found a new singer and went on the tour (they were obviously very unsuccessful without her) so don't think she just left the band:) she is the one with the true heart

@shrimpy shrimps That's not quite what happened. Rachel has ankylosing spondylitis which part of the treatment is chemo therapy. It happened at the very start of the tour and they replaced her for the remaining tour.

Rachel didn't like the fact that she never met the new person and how people were marketing the tour using her illness. So she left the band August of 2012 and was replaced. But she came back to the band in October. Around the same time, Trevor Kelly left He is We with the replacement girl to start his own band. Leaving Rachel on her own.

Rachel did a few solo songs until 2015 when she announced "He is We 2.0" or She is We.
