Shauf, Andy - Eventually Lyrics
Could you believe when he took your hand in his
When he pulled you in close for the kiss
When his smile brought another to you
When your eyes said you loved him too
Oh time moves on eventually
When the nurse let you hold your first son
When he learned how to talk and run
When one turned into four and to five
Did you feel even more alive?
Oh time moves on eventually
When I was born were you proud for me
When I biked down the street and watched tv
Did you know I'd grow up finally
Are you proud of who I've come to be?
When he got sick in the cold of the winter
Did you wait by his bedside through the night
Did the memories find you in a hurry
Did you make it through alright?
Oh time moves on
Time moves on,
Time moves on eventually,
Moves on eventually,
Time moves on eventually

Who said the Beatles are over?
Great tune - wicked video
Do Winston, Geoff and Andrew have social media? I'd like to see more from them. I bet other people would, too. Why not link in the description? Also, I just experienced Matrix level déjà vu while typing this. Don't panic though... it passed.

Too much all seeinh eye symbolism for me.

Is the artwork by Larry Carlson? 🤔
The video seems like the collages of the "Their satanic majesties request" of the rolling stones
best use of distorted guitar i've heard in a LONG time, it shouldn't fit but it DOES
Awesome video the. Collage editing is such a amazing idea for a music video awesome song
This mans artistic genius is undeniable
The drug did all the song

Ending made me want more
Can anyone tell me what instrument is being played in the second verse? some kind of percussion that sounds a bit like a triangle maybe?
Isn't it just a piano? Unless I'm not hearing what you're talking about haha
@Kaleb Peters Not the piano - if you listen closely especially after the words 'reappear' and 'disappear' there's some kind of metallic sounding percussion in the right headphone
Fabulosa rola y grandioso video ... yea
Weirdly enough, I feel like Ive heard the same kind of music on the radio when I was a child on a roadtrip to Marrakech
I feel nostalgic to that time, when I used to invent stories in the creases of the mountains and collins surrounding the highroad we were driving on
One of the most terrifying story I ever made, was one in wich my father decided it was finally time to drop me off in the road, Mom came with me though, and we sat in a kind of big crease of a mountain. Unknown to us, at the very corner of this crease, was a portal to a different world.
We met there women and childs like me and mom, they were all looking so happy and joyful. All of them looked like old 40's advertisement of kitchen supplies or very old cartoon style of clothing.
We started living well for some really long time, we even dressed like them as if we have always belonged here. But really nowhere do I belong.
It turned out, I messed up, I was trying to help a buddy to go up some kind of stairs but he only did so to take the apple designated for the women. When they discovered this, the buddy was gone, and I was left as his scapegoat under the very frightening eyes of the adult residers, I tried to find my mother among them so I could explain myself to her, but she was not here, or she was, but was then only one of the many clones among these perfect creatures.....
I was kicked out, alone, with nobody to turn to....(I was still in the car though sitting next to my big bro and doing my best to hide my tears from my family xD)
And I then imagined life in the wild, but thats another story :)
Love what this does to my innards
this whole album is just o so great
Damn, can someone confirm to a confused Canadian if that’s Lake Louise at 3:10?

This video is so cool!!
video 10/10
hot garbage
Absolutely wonderful
sometimes this makes things better
The style of the video is really Monty Pithon like, great song!
This song should be in the doctor strange two trailer.
Never heard this before. Love it! Similar to Morgan Delt🤩✌🏻
I dig it. Amanita nother listen.
His accent is bizarre, but I dig it. I'm pretty sure the lyric goes "Old false magician bends the rules" and not "Oh, fools, the magician bends the rules" as others have written here, but he says it so slurred that It is hard to be certain. I don't think it matters. Two thumbs up.
I think that this is my favourite song of his, the song reminds me of Southampton, my home, and the video is just divine. The chord progression is so sad and beautiful. I love the use of funny instruments, like the little bit of clarinet (I think) at 2:07. The end part at 2:44 sounds so dismal and I love it. That end bit is what reminds me of Southampton. That bit physically FEELS like rain. I love this song endlessly.
Awesome video awesome band I love the awesome collage. editing wow supper awesome
I was so entranced by the visual l forgot to listen. ☝
This song is awesome and I can't get it out of my head.
I want to get the album/vinyl this song is on but I wonder if the rest of the album is any good.
Songs like this are my everyday mood.
Just ask for help
@Logan Grey you're projecting .
great!!!
I'm getting a Beatles vibe from this. I don't hate it.
Its reminiscent of Let it Down by George Harrison
This song reminds me a lot of George Harrison - Let It Down
Who's under 14 and listens to this?

I have a lot of theories about what is this song about, but not really sure of any of them. Any ideas?

Thank god for psychedelics
This was an actual Beatles song?

Incredible album. Gorgeous.
💕🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻💕
Ive tripped so many times and listened to this song,
Brings back so much nostalgia and so many flashbacks...
Wes Anderson-esque music video + millennial Paul Simon/Elliot Smith-like vocals = This song.
The music video makes me believe for just a moment that beneath this earthly veneer of mundane existence there's indeed a metaphysical world of ethereal phantasmagoria. All hail such artists for making this reality more bearable to us.
Cool story, bro.
Nah jp, forreal.
