I love and always have loved Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush version it will always be special.They did a great job. I am not a fan of a lot of remakes. There is a lot of music that should be left alone and not remade. However I really enjoy this version. Shannon and Natalie have made their version of this really cool. Good job guys!

While both do okay this cover doesn't grab me as much as the live cover done on Rockwiz by Jeff Martin and Tina Arena. The arrangement in this version seemed to have the one tempo, it didn't step up or step down.

A great version of the song; the definitely captured the spirit of it. Depression doesn't get better-- it is a poison. You, however, do. You learn and grow and in time, with effort and endurance, all the broken thoughts that spill from that poison are just a puddled memory.

Just focus on the tiniest thing and learn to love it (for me it was Star Trek and a nice bitter tea). If you can love that one tiny thing, you can love it all (like my newly married wife and this song:p).

If you don't like the song I'm cool with that, but I i don't expect hate for loving it. I can easily say that this was the one song that got me through after the bushfires in 2009, and my little people needed a mum that felt the encouragement that this song gave me to keep on going when it all felt way too much.... So from me I say a very big thank you to both Shannon & Natalie, you'll probably never know what you did for my family and I. It's people like you guys that are the reason I love this country and its spirit

I live on the land. I am dealing with depression, this version is better than the original. For what it represents. I have mates who took their own lives because of the drought and lack of understanding. just don't listen to it if you don't like it. Beyond blue have helped so many, who were not able to see a way out of their condition , they were and are a light of hope when all you can see is darkness.

The song was done for charity dude, namely the charity dealing with depression called beyondblue. It's not as good as the Peter Gabriel Kate Bush version, but being that this was done for a very good cause, I think they can be forgiven and by the way, it's not as bad as you would make out.

Why the fuck did they bother. 1986 has been and gone but one of the things I remember so clearly is Peter Gabriels, "So", from that year. Nothing could compare to that songs production and Noll's management had their heads up their asses to even think that that song would be a good idea. Trite, at best.
