Seekers, The - Devoted To You Lyrics
Darling you can count on me
Till the sun dries up the sea
Until then I'll always be
Devoted to you
I'll adore your charm sublime
Guess by now you'll know that I'm
Devoted to you
I'll never hurt you I'll never lie
I'll never be untrue
I'll never give you reason to cry
I'd be unhappy if you were blue
Through the years my love will grow
It can't die because I'm so
Devoted to you
I'll never hurt you I'll never lie
I'll never be untrue
I'll never give you reason to cry
I'd be unhappy if you were blue
Through the years my love will grow
Like a river it will flow
It can't die because I'm so
Devoted to you
Devoted to you

Seekers, The Devoted To You Comments
The Everly Brothers would be very product of this version!!!
Ron. We will never forget you. You are part of The Seekers story.
This would have had the seal of approval from the Everlys. Wonderful.
Wonderful servants to their millions of listeners. We have all lost some great friends now that they have retired. We all looked forward so much to their performances
Simply heart touching.
Judith light
The Everleys would have given this a huge thumbs up. Brilliant as usual.
Love this one! They have always been just perfect.
Amazing know what they perform the performance is outstanding. Judith Light is the best female singer I ever heard
Brilliant. Seekers and Judith. Non better anywhere.
She gives Island of Dreams a different feel to Dusty...but they're both excellent.
Bruce deserves some credit too
....& Mike Hurst too (on Dusty's).
Just came across this video always knew the Everly Brothers original but this absolutely sparkles. God bless you Judith and the rest. Incredible!
___ she's got a place reserved in the Hevenly Choir . I'm guessing she was there already and the Good Lord was feeling charitable one day and sent us Ms Judith , but he'll be taking her back one day !
Amen Adrian on Judith , ---- no , I haven't been able to bring myself together with a new Lab , still too brokenhearted . I've walked all our old places many ,many, times . She loved the cold and snow of Quincy , just south of Boston . Judith's song, " Bonny Face" , could have been Sophie , she had the kindest eyes . ----- Thank you ----- ps I'm 71 today . Last year I would get out of bed at 5 am , get down on the floor and get a head butt greeting from Soph. , it was Heaven on Earth ! Paradise Lost ?
My strong advice is get yourself a new cuddly golden bundle of fun. That is what I did and it worked. You will soon find your loss will heal in the latest love of your life. That does not mean you are being disrespectful to Sophie. In fact she, would not want you to be continually sad because of her. Happy birthday. I'm 72 next month
@Adrian Larkins I know your right , I just think the timing has to synch with , well , a lot of things . I sold my house last Sept. after 39 years and am currently renting . I'm thinking of going back to my old neighborhood and downsizing . I'm currently in a 2 bedroom bungalow with my 8 year old adopted cat . Maybe in the springtime . It was just - 9 degrees here . Both Soph. and I never saw those temps , but I know she would have pulled me out the door to go for a walk !
Hello William. I'm enjoying a late night session of SEEKERS. I hope you are well and have a new four legged love in your life. Woff woff!! walkies
Hi Adrian , No replacemet yet for Sophie . She's gone 1 year Aug. 12th and I'm a mess . I read about a guy saying , ' I don't want another dog , I want my dog ! Iknow , not realistic , but honest . I know she can't come to me , so I keep hoping I go to her . I had such Peace of Mind once . ps read about female dogs and oxytocin , it's a love hormone that released through eye contact with canines and humans . Believe me , I felt it and now it's no more , my reason for existing was lost . I know , I'm a downer in a real funk . I sound like a hippy . God bless Adrian .
I love the Everly Brothers version but I have to say that crystal clear voice, the harmony and the beautiful change of key trumped the original.
Judith is alway Wonderful. Thanks.
Judith and the Seekers are the best!
No one can sing like judith . Best group ever
During this 25th anniversary concert tour, Judith's dear husband Ron was very ill but he encouraged and supported her to do the concert tour...bless their hearts
.......and I have been devoted to you for 50 years....love always
Back for more wonderful Judith.
Thanks ,
I so wish I could see her in person. Her voice mesmerizes me.
I agree with you word by word.
She has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard... Lord, please heal her so she can continue to bless us.
Beautiful. Through the years my love will grow. Just beautiful.
Judith: Get well soon.
Thanks for Posting.

I just gave a listen to The Everly Brothers. I like The Seekers cover better. (I don't generally care for most covers.)
Do you see her anywhere near a harpsichord?
Do you SEE a harpsichord?
Judith is certainly gracious , with an amazing voice I can listen to for many , many hours . I've heard it said that she has "Perfect Pitch " , I believe that , she's never off key .
I could listen to her voice 24/7 and never be tired. That cannot be said for anybody.
I was there
Yes indeed !!!
@noahwayne For me, Carly Simon's version of this song is my favorite and Don and Phil's version I like almost as much.
@VealParmigiana Don and Phil cant be surpassed with this song....
Simply heart throbbing
Okay guys...Be honest...ARE you not madly in love with this lady?
judith durham at her very best, fantastic, love you judith, xxx
once again dazblue has brought us the amazing voice of Judith.I always thought that this song was owned by the everlys Judith does it better
Judith has a beautiful voice.
The Seekers are one of the most talented groups in music history.
I love them.
George Vreeland Hill
They are one of my favorites but the Everly Brothers did this so well ,,it would be like trying to remake " Forbidden Planet"
what a great lady,and band!
Judith was arguably as good a singer as any female vocalist since 1950. Carly Simon's recording of this song is excellent, but this is the best version.
Kiss Me!!!
