Gran clásica de los 70's cuya letra pareciera ser "Trump prophetic". Neil Sedaka tuvo su cúspide más en los tempranos 60's con canciones populares de orientación 'pop' típicas de la época y destacó comercialmente mas como compositor que como intérprete. Sin embargo, irónicamente esta pieza ("Bad and Beautiful") es muy extemporánea a esos años; es del '76 y resultó ser por mucho la mejor que jamás escribió e interpretó a pesar de ser representativa prácticamente de su última época activa. Los primeros 14 segundos son excelentes y sientan la pauta del resto de la melodía. En verdad que llama poderosamente la atención la similitud lírica (o "lyrica", dada la letra) con "He's Misstra Know It All" de Stevie Wonder, también de los 70's.
