Screamo _is_ a genre, despite OP's incorrect usage. Screamo is Saetia and bands like them, not anything that has screaming in it. This album in particular is Metalcore, not Post-Hardcore.

Their first album is much more Metalcore imo. It's definitely on the verge of Post-Hardcore, but I wouldn't say it's entirely Post-Hardcore like their later albums are (besides their acoustic EP, obviously.)

I've listened to quite a bit of modern post-hardcore, and a lot of it is incredibly similar in structure and songwriting style. Breakdown, verse, chorus, breakdown, verse, chorus, repeat. Death and black metal don't have rigid structure like that, which is why there's more variety in those genres. I have nothing but respect for legitimate post-hardcore bands like Circle Takes the Square.

Saw these supporting OM&M in The Asylum and they stole the show! They were amazing live, and they're awesome people! Even competing against OM&M and MMF, this band held their own and showed us Brits how to rock! This album just solidifies their greatness in my eyes :)

I guarantee you that people who don't listen to Black Metal would feel the same way about that. Initially only the most apparent difference in a different genre will be noticed, making different styles sound like all their artists are the same, but once you immerse in a genre and get used to it, you recognise the variety in its artists. To me, all jazz and blues sounds the same regardless of great variety, mostly because I haven't listened to it thoroughly.
Small lesson in music psychology.

I met Xander when he(and about every one else in secrets) were in a band called, A city serene. They were one of the opening acts for eyes set to kill's broken frames release party in Tucson.

remember how they were the first band performing and they made everybody go crazy,,!!!!! attack attack, the word alive and etf was fuckin amazing too,,,,

this guys were the first band at irving plaza nyc and they made everybody go nuts,, eventhough they were the 1 band performing ,,

These guys fucking killed it at Irving Plaza!!!!
