I'm just going to throw this out there! In 1997 February 4th I got married at 18 years old! With the pressures of being married so young and all the depression and bad things going on in my life was taking its toll on me! around the end of August or September of 1997 I heard on the radio my whole life in a song! Everyone around me was expecting so much! No one was pressuring me near as much as I was pressuring myself! The words for the song I realized I created My Own Prison! I'm 41 years old I have two daughters now, this song really takes me back or also to my future! The lyrics of Scots music has fed my soul! My daughter's we born in 2011 and 2012. My father died in 1994! I don't want my girls to know that pain..... Thank you Scott! I've been praying for you and your family since 2011 brother!

I grew up not really knowing my dad's name, I wish to meet him 19 years into my life and just how you say you won't let your son know that pain. Just... something I too want to do when I one day get children of my own. Thank you Scott for coming back to music and giving us this song and album

He finds the love of his life that helped him when most would walk away his Angle sent to him & loved him rid addictive ways turns his life around and they had a Son that really made a Powerful impact on his life and he's proved his Son will never have to know his pain he went through! I love songs with happy endings. 🥀🤘

This should be my theme song. My sperm donor left us when we were all small children and we only saw him a few times until his death several decades later. But, I had a son who I love more than life itself. He's 30 years old now, married, has 4 children of his own, and has adopted two more babies. He's a great dad, too!
