Scene23 from Popstars, which originally aired on The WB. Only one of the group members landed more success after he had a couple movie roles . This was my favorite song off their one and only album. Making pop groups in the 90's was a recurring trend. The only reason they didn't last is because they didn't have the right people working with them. They were mediocre singers with great potentiometer, but they got fucked over instead.

I remember when Donavan wrote this song and created it in their hotel room and got all of the band members to record the song without the label knowing. When they got to present the song I was happy that they loved what they came up with.

Im actually very close to Don and i can tell you he's still working on music just not as a singer. he's doing more songwriting and production. from writing for singers like Lil Mo and being featured on said song he's also been working diligently with a very talented vocalist by the name of Wish. with him being behind her and supporting her vision and her trusting his vision they got her Signed to Jive records before they went under and collided with RCA. so her deal was short lived but he got her almost mainstream. her song 'Feel Ur Beat' had a video that premiered on 106 & park and the first digital single she released called Suga Daddy had a spot on the Comcast OnDemand music section. Mo on the other hand told me personally a few years back on Myspace that she had no plans on working in the industry any longer because of her new found faith and (then) recent marriage. not sure if she'd ever do or has been doing gospel though

Laurie Gidosh had one heck of a voice. I just don't get why she never became a star. And yeah, like Eden's Crush this group got caught up in record label politics. When David Foster lost his label, the parent company just put no effort into either group, which was such a shame.

Laurie goes by Lauriana Mae now. Signed to Atlantic if I'm not mistaken.

No, their record label folded not long after the cd's release in 2002. JOsh has done plenty of acting work, Laurie Gidosh had a few gigs, one in a band and she appeared on Making the Band as a contestant. Dorothy is looking for work, she went to college and now lives in LA. I haven't seen or heard ANYTHING about Donavan or Monika. I really thought he would continue in the music industry as he is very talented. Monika was just gorgeous! I'm sure she could have found work as a background singer.
