I don't like numbered lists of "who is better", I usually think ordering them by class is better. Judas Priest, Maiden, Sabbath and Saxon have all reached a level of awesomeness that they have become legendary bands, and that is a class all its own. Legendary bands only order against non-legendary bands (or those who have not reached that pinnacle yet). Its the highest honor, they are all kings of metal.

great stuff so many good songs.im very fond of metalhead and lionheart too. the older stuff like strong arm and power are untouchable in greatness.the last few albums they released are very strong too. everyone has there favs. princess of the dawn and 20,000feet are mine!! to die by the sword is pretty hooky too!! saxon on !!!

Last time I saw them live, they were playing on the same bill as Iron Maiden. This one brings back memories. Reminds me of the Vincent Price movie by the same name.
