I first found Sawyer before The Voice on YouTube singing "Any Of My Trouble" and I was floored by the lyrics. The line "So set my heart down in the cold, let it freeze so I will know, how it feels to be shattered, when you go" absolutely slayed me. Then I found out he was 14 years old when he wrote that song. It only made me want to dig deeper into his artistry. I was very pleasantly rewarded when I listened to all the songs that he had written starting from earlier than age 12 !! I've been hooked ever since. The Voice was awkward for me to watch knowing what a true talent Sawyer is in his ability's. As it turned out, he felt kind of awkward there as well. Sawyer is most comfortable when he's performing, writing and on his family's farm with family and friends. His voice, his "UBER" songwriting talent, his musical talents in general, are all stand alone qualities. In his very own skin, his true north is the music, the lyrics, and his art <3 So much love and respect for Sawyer and his amazing team <3

It's really funny to me that I have that feeling that the force of the vibe that comes from this kid is someone that I must have somewhere met before a long time ago it's the kind of person who I'd hang out with. Crazy but real familiar. That just blows me away and makes me laugh inside. Love listening this guy.
