I think the keyboards works rather well with most progressive metal, deep purple, rainbow, dream theatre, etc have all used keyboards, the great thing about metal is there so many different types to explore listening to, one day you may be in a certain mood and hear something in this style of metal that you will like or you might say i dont like it at all it stinks, but I would suggest giving savatage a 2nd chance they have some great songs. Check out Hall of the Mountain King if you want it heaver. 🤘
