I LOVE This Song!, I like the video 'stage set/theme', but really despise the 'special effect' done to Sarah's face by some geek producer! NOT A GOOD EDIT NOR CHOICE! That being, whomever it was, should be denied working in film/theatre for life! But, conversely, Sarah's dress/make-up were great! So, I've mixed feelings on the video, but know what it is about the song that has always captured my heart. Perhaps, maybe, Sarah was with someone special along the coast of Maine in early summertime? If so, she nailed it...

This video condones relationships between older women and younger men but denigrates relationships between older men and younger women. Sarah M. has a well trained voice but this video caters to Germaine Greer feministic misandry. Pity.

This is actually the inferior remix of the original which was recorded by Nettwerk in 1987 when she was 19 (if that matters) and released in 1988. Not trolling you, Christopher. Just setting the record straight.

Oh my. Not only does Sarah have no bad songs at all, she was (and is, mind you) absolutely beautiful.

+Alexander Brown I agree. You take the entire catalogue and cover them with nothing more than a six string guitar and as long as you have the sheet music, you will able to learn the most interesting form of classical/celtic music.

This has always been one of my faves too. I don't think many people outside of Canada knew who she was before Possession. No clue why, her label i guess? Amazing stuff, esp when you think of what was on the radio in '89! This is 80s music people, not just the stuff everyone thinks was. :)

i discovered this song of hers about 3 years ago,which-bearing in mind we're in 2011-means i'd lost about 19 years of one of the most amazing songs ever.
of course...i think i've made up since.i must have heard it a million times so far.
