Not even remotely. There are a lot of songs that sound more like Ohio than this does. Neil Young would probably even admit that it's one of those folk melodies that everyone's used.

Well the Blue-Grass Bobby Gentry has come around again bringing with her a darkly musical tale of a lover's woe straight out of Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman"..
Overall production value as compared to the last excellent CD (note the missing Dobro and Violin) is a bit more sparse and a lot more 6-string intimate.
Putting an Asian in a Blue-Grass video is similar to wearing socks made of cheese, but, in the end if the CD is even half as great as that last one, nothing else really matters.

Its very easy for an artist to have their music over-produced - this is just right, and I love that the vocals are prominent and not lost in the mix. Another thumbs up from the UK.

I'd disagree. I've heard some of her studio work before it was fully produced, and the comparison to the finished product is absurd.

Compare the raw video of her playing "1000 things" in the studio on youtube with the compressed and mixed track on the album. Her vocals sound so much richer in the former, where as she sounds almost airbrushed on some of the finished tracks, and that's not to speak of the instruments.
 
I'd definitely like to hear her do a more minimalist production along the lines of Gillian Welch's later albums.
