Sammy Davis Jr. - Hey There Lyrics
Hey there
You with the stars in your eyes
Love never made a fool of you
You used to be too wise
You on that high flying cloud
Though she won't throw a crumb to you
You think someday she'll come to you
Better forget her
Her with her nose in the air
She has you dancing on a string
Break it and she won't care
Won't you take this advise I hand you like a brother
Or are you not seeing things to clear
Is it all going in one ear and out the other

Sammy Davis Jr. Hey There Comments
This reminds me of assassins creed 2 or just 1600s Italy. Yeah i don't know
What a great entertainer and a beautiful singer
RIP all of you including the King, Elvis, the greatest voices ever, by forgetting Mario Lanza my favourite, his Christmas album is fabulous....

Wow, do I miss Sammy, Dino and Frank.
Sammy is the most talented artist EVE
He really is!! I honestly don't understand why Sinatra gets all the attention... vocally, Sammy is much better than him.
28 years gone. Bless him! He could do it all. We will never see his like again.
Reminds me of walking into the employee entrance of the Bellagio and climbing up that long, steep carpeted hill so I could grab a drink at the employee dining room before clocking in for the swing shift.
I Love this song I sang it to my daughter it has magic only Sammy could do

t a song and a fantastic version from the musical "The Pyjama Game"Sammy hit the top of his voice with this song
O MAIS COMPLETO ARTISTA AMERICANO DE TODOS OS TEMPOS !
SABIA TUDO !
SALVE SAMMY !!!
QUE DEUS O TENHA - ETERNAMENTE ? CREIO QUE NÃO, ELE PODE VOLTAR EM OUTRA VIDA E CONTINUAR SEU FORTE BRILHO !
The name of this song is "either" not "hey there".
Really? Lol, it's definitely 'Hey There' from the musical "The Pajama Game"
In the show "Only Fools and Horses", Buster Merryfield sang the song changing the words "Hey There" to "Ada", not "Either", singing the song to his wife whose name was Ada. Hey There was written especially for the musical show "Pajama Game'' by Jerry Ross (composer) and Richard Adler(Lyricist).
One of my favorite Sammy tunes.
'54 was the year I graduated high school. This was a big hit. I have loved
Sammy Davis since then....actually idolized all of his many talents. My late husband
and I used to lie on the rug and listen to his music, spellbound.
Saludos!
