Hi Casey and Sam. Is the sheet music available for this beautiful song? I sing with a traditional SATB choir here in the UK, and our conductor is so impressed with this song that she asked me to contact you to to find out if it would be possible for us to perform it at our Christmas concert. I guess you don't have an SATB version off the shelf, so would it be OK if we wrote a version or would you rather arrange it yourselves? I'm sure there a heap of legal stuff and royalties issues to go into to, but I thought I sound you out on this in principle first.

Basically you have to have a foot thick dictionary, a two foot thick thesaurus and an absolute love of the history of all the words sloshing around in your mind, and the ability to feel the heart of the author wash into you, become you, and come back out, carrying all the words they need to better express their heart. ... and then send it back to see if they feel I have uncluttered what their best throw of words was. And then of course there is, the flow, the rhythm, and the emotion, ... *sigh, ya know, this one time, at Choir Camp ... Look up Michael Shasberger, my highschool (class of 1980 baby!) choir director, he is amazing ... but I digress ...
I love doing it, and I miss it very much.
Sometimes I am compelled by a really impressive artist to drop notes in the tip jar ...

~1:47 ... as [blissfully ~I (held 2 beats and slid down a note)~ get to hold] your \\\ OR [Joyfully] I get to hold, but blissfully replaced "whispering softly" better than joyfully, there is the "iss" sound preserved, and the J of joy is a sharp sound, while the B of bliss is blanket like ... cozy even. I was worried about being too Christmas Cheesy also, and feel Joy is the much more overused word, so yeah ... Bliss just makes it under that radar methinks, and aims directly at the heart of the "secure-warm-love" feel. "Whispering softly" is a clunk, as there is nothing whispered subsequently. It felt like your brain ran out of words for those beats, and those were the only ones you could find that fit, that got close to a blending of hearts feeling, so you stuffed them in there. :)
~ALSO in this solo ... "hold" and "your" need to be held 1 beat longer, especially your, as both voices need to mesh together in the feeling of the release of the tension of being only 90 percent sure, turning into 100 percent "love! found at long last! confirmed! Phew!".
~ 2:03 [you're] inside... {Metaphorically safe inside my loving heart}( this is a "you came in out of the cold' song, not a We battled the cold together song").
~2:27 ... [Treasuring this] time overlapped with you singing [This precious precious time] Beginning on "this". I dunno, feels cheesy, but really close, so...
