I'm a black dude of 53 years old and I love this hard heavy metal stuff. The first hard metal song I remember turning me over to the dark side of metal was from the group - Judas Priest - "You got another thing coming" -- That song was purely about my life back thing. Then came ACDC - "Back in Black" but the first group that actually turned my attention towards that style of rock was Genesis which isn't technically metal but still considered rock. Maybe not hard rock but rock just the same. Then after that the flood gates opened and all hell broke loose as they say. The groups that followed after that were - The Police - Areosmith - Guns and Roses - Black Sabbath - Kiss etc the list goes on and on.
