Yes it is. If you think these lyrics are powerful listen to "Bring Me Home" from off of her Solider of Love Album. It speaks of Sade being fed up with the harshness of life and committing suicide to be brought to the other side or brought home to "God". I listen to the song a lot and her words are powerful in this song. Let me know what you think. The hums and high pitches that you will hear in the background is Sade as well just incase you wonder. I saw video of her recording this track.

If you think this makes you feel high have a couple of glasses of wine or have a couple of beers and try listening to her song "Flow" off of the Lover's Rock album. That song will have you floating. I know it has me feeling that way :)

It’s not Mathew Matthewman its Stuart Matthewman and any true Sade fan knows that they still write songs together. They have been a band along with Andrew Hale have for decades now. Stuart Matthewman co-wrote the following songs off of her latest album Soldier of Love; "The Moon And The Sky", "Morning Bird" and "In Another Time" and one of my favorites "Bring Me Home" which is the track that tells a story of Sade committing suicide. Always remember that without her band there is NO SADE!

Best song on Lovers. The tour made this that much more powerful with the view of the ocean. Can you imagine that was all those people saw during the middle passage. I love her music. I love that she is able to take something that is so unspeakable and bring it to presentable terms through well chosen lyrics and sound.
