The images in this video made me think that this song was for a British MKV that served in WW2 nicknamed "Bull" that also rescued 14 soldiers.

Until I searched up the meaning of the song and realised I was far, far away from what the song is supposed to be about.

Not all heroes take lives, there are some heroes that save lives, especially in a time of madness, these men are forever changed, but that still doesn't stop them from their heroic deeds, they truly are the angels of the battlefield.

Reminds me of a man I have been fortunate enough to know well, Clarence Sasser. Drafted into the Vietnam War, Clarence became a medic. Under fire at a rice field in the Mekong Valley, Mr. Sasser was wounded numerous time by machine gun fire and shrapnel. He refused medical attention and continued to retrieve and treat his comrades. After a day and night of fighting Mr. Sasser was extracted by helicopter. He received the Medal of Honor for his actions that day.

After I bought this Album I was completely surprised by this song. I never thought that Sabaton would release a ballade in the middle of all those power metal songs and holy shit it was amazing!!!

And that's why we love Sabaton. They're range is massive & they know how to use it properly.

God as my witness, I shall never tire of this song. As far as I'm concerned it's one of the top five songs ever made by man, right next to No Bullets Fly and Amazing Grace.

Actually, I'm going to have to drop No Bullets Fly and replace it with Isle of Hope, Isle of Fears. Sorry Sabaton.

I remember my grandpa telling me stories of when he was in the marines and how he survived d-day he said that right when his Higgins bout hit the beaches the drivers were sniped and ever one was killed by the machine guns then his bout exploded sending him flying into the air when he looked up he say his officer get burned alive because he didn’t escape the blast in time so only my grandpa and two friends made it out of 13 man on the bout but only my grandpa made it because one was hit by a artillery shell that didn’t explode on impact so my grandpa had to see his friend die with a artillery shell in his chest then the other got Mode down by machine guns when they finally took over Normandy my grandpa had bullet holes in he’s arms and legs with blood dripping down his face he had a flag in one hand and his M1 grand in the other then screamed don’t fuck with a marine like me

Imagine if the US had faced the numbers they were supposed to face... They only faced 20-30% of what they were expecting yet still took over double the losses they expected to take. Meanwhile the Canadians & parts of the British landing stumbled upon the 6km long convoy of German forces. It's kind of like Gallipoli(the US landing). Planned to perfection yet all goes wrong since the defenders want to protect their homes.
