Ry Cooder - Nobody's Fault But Mine Lyrics

Nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
And well If I don't read my soul will be lost
And that's nobody's fault but mine

I got a bible in my home
I got a bible in my home
If I don't read my soul will be lost
And it's nobody's fault but mine

My mother taught me how to pray
My mother taught me how to pray
If I don't pray my soul will be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

Jesus taught me what to do
And Buddha taught me what to do
If I don't do right my soul will be lost
Nobody's fault but mine
I don't blame nobody

Nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
If I don't pray my soul will be lost
Nobody's fault but mine, yeah

Nobody's fault but mine

La mejor versión de este clásico, sin lugar a dudas...

    The one & only Ry.

Wow, that is one strange version of NFBM. Innovative maybe but I'd prefer a few more classic Cooder licks and a few less echoey horns.

    Ohhhh how great

Masterful reading of Johnson's blues gospel classic. Cooder is a truly extraordinary musican whose contributions to, and preservation of traditional musical styles and genres is nearly without peer. His advocacy for the vulnerable and plea for justice, a voice for those without. The very epitome of what an artist should be.

do you really think, that what you state is the very epitome of what an artist "should be"? If it is, that would answer a few questions I've had about the state of the world
