Wish the music was lower, couldn't understand a word he was singing. Learn from Sinatra, Crosby, Martin, Beatles, etc. they all had lyrics you could easily hear and understand.

I'm so glad to hear Donnie singing that--it means Runrig sang this a while ago, that they've been thinking this way for years. I knew there was a reason I love this band!

That is AFTER I looked up the lyrics, as it was much less coherent than other Runrig songs.

I assume by fake you mean inauthentic and manufactured. That would probably be on the money. However, I believe the same criticism can be levelled at Runrig. Arguably they are not as vacuous as most contemporary pop groups but I think jumping on the bandwagon of 'environmentalism' is a cynical ploy to attract fans. They are the the environmental equivalent of all those terrible 'christian rock' bands.

There is literally no evidence to suggest that whatsoever. They are derivative and outdated. Runrig fan boys are absolutely hilarious, and might not want to be calling people dim witted...

That whole film is a sack of overly sensationalized, flat-out factually incorrect dog shit.

Not necessarily saying there *wasn't* a conspiracy, but if there was, Zeitgeist is the last piece of "supporting evidence" you'd ever want to cite.

The reasons behind 9/11 and 7/7 (uk version ) was something refered to as new world order some will dismiss this as conspiracy theory but Bush refered to it twice in speeches during his term... try a wesite called zeitgeist my friend it might surprise you with the truth........ LOL enjoy

I've got to be honest, I think this video is poor.

There's no need to ram the message of the song down our throats.

Nor is there any need to flip from a mountain to a church - the lyrics say that 'mountains are holy places', not churches.

Having said that, I appreciate the effort you've gone to, and it's always good to hear my favourite Runrig tune!

Donnie hasnt been involved with politics for years now, he is succesfully on the go with his own band now and has been for years, i know as i work with him.... :-)

its not about doing everything right, but a fews things are easy to avoid, so why dont just do what we can? that song is idealistic, but who can reach anything without an ideal? ^.^

I like Runrig, but Donnie is a PC New Labour twat. "Environmentalists" -- the clue is in the last three syllables.
Think I'll go and chop down an endahered species of tropical hardwood make a harpoon out of it and kill a whale.
And make a very big and totally unnecessary fire to cook it on

'THE CUTTER AND THE CLAN' is one of Runrig's best albums. I know they are still a good band since Bruce Guthro joined them, and have seen them live since then. But I sincerely believe that the heart and soul was ripped from the band when Donnie left. Just my opinion, of course, so please no rude comments, anyone. But RatLady, you've done an excellent job with this video, it helps to promote the song and the message it carries. But what a grim future we have.
