Roxy Music - The Space Between Lyrics
The way I see it
This relationship ain't right
The space between us
Better close it up tonight
The space between us
The way I see it
This relationship ain't right
The space between us
Listen here listen, listen here listen
We better

Roxy Music The Space Between Comments
...what dickhead could possibly thumb this down, seriously?
"Avalon" is a testament to when musicianship was truly masterful. Roxy Music is flawless here.
Much as I love it every round of hearing, this was Ferry, Clearmountain, and Davies. The engineering as well as production can not be or will never be equaled. That includes everyone, musicians as well as singers alike. As a Ferry fan who began with this album in 1982, it's safe to say he was the auteur here. That's also his ex and sadly deceased wife, Lucy on the cover. She helped him get out/over his cocaine addiction and after they separated, boys all grown, she committed suicide.
So, here's to Lucy Ferry. RIP.
Love it
Apparently, I Liked this, but failed to comment. That said, this "Musical Relationship is groovin'," sorry this was such a sleeper! Thanks Roxy!
Brilliant cover art; befitting for such a Magnificent album. [I wonder if this Art wasn't inspired by a scene in the motion picture "The Robe."]
I didn't get turned on" to this until lately, missed the boat!

Those horns. Timeless
This album is gold, so good!
When Avalon came out, I bought it along with King Crimson's Discipline album, both on the E'G label at the time. Amazing music, and then I read that when King Crimson was forming that Bryan Ferry auditioned as the singer.Robert Fripp chose Greg Lake instead but it gets me wondering how Crimson would have sounded with Bryan on vocals for Schizoid Man, Talk To The Wind, In The Court and Epitaph.
Those horns. Timeless
A great, wonderfull Song I Like it
Intemporel et magnifique
bought this album in 1982 still love it in 2019......
About Roxy's album covers: every single one is exquisite and stunning, on from the very beginning.
About Roxy's music: bliss and enchantment and excitement.

Good to hear you're so close to your grandmother
Dave Whiteway 🤣
It's 4 1/2 minutes long. Your grandfather needs to try harder.
I loved every song you produced, wonderful voice and music.
Yeah for real this album is so good truly original produced beautifully.
What a song!! congrats on the hall of fame.
Yup. Bryan Ferry still sounds amazing 35 years later.
This song sounds so good when you go for a walk/run outside
Mesmerizing song and rythm. The whole album (Avalon) is pure treasure to me.
Probably one of the best Pop/Rock album ever.
"Avalon" and the 2 Bryan Ferry albums "Boys and Girls" and "Bete Noire" are an amazing trio and oft-played by me.
@Seventh Mist : Only know "Slave to love" and "Don't stop the dance" from these two solo albums...I believe you're right. I'll have to listen to them soon.
One of my favorites of his is on the Bete Noire album -- "The Right Stuff."
Yes, THIS album is much more than THIS!!!
This song's got it all!
