It always disappointed me this wasn't on the greatest hits CDs. Dewar is in great voice, and the rest of the band is rocking! My favorite song off this album, which I had on vinyl.

one of the best, jimmy's voice is amazing, and the tone of the song almost reminds me of a modern day ambient, lounge or contemporary piece. Robin was way ahead of his time in a lot of ways with his playing.

You're right about that. Nothing pisses me off more than when someone refers to him as a Hendrix copycat. They just don't get it.

I have learned a lot tonight like Robin Trower was not the lead singer!!!  I've been listening to RT forever and a day, but I did not know that!!  I guess that's the innocence of the teenage years. I never saw him live, and I did not know James Dewar was the bassist and lead singer!!!  And what a great voice he had!!! He has since passed on, but I still love listening to RT.  Bridge of Sighs is my fav album, but they are ALL good!! Don't forget Procol Harum.....

What an amazing voice Jimmy had!  One can certainly hear his influences!  But he had his own perfect sound!  R.I.P. Jimmy.

They got more sound out of three (then four) players than a lot of bands could with seven or eight.  Guess Robin is the only one left now that Reg Isadore passed.  I'm glad to have spent my high-school years in the 70's, when there was plenty of weed and lots of good music if you looked for it (and sex wasn't a potential death-sentence!).

I was just thinking of the original lineup of Trower, Isodore and James Dewar.  James had such a great voice;  he's always been one of my favorite (and tragically underrated) singers, along with Jack Bruce, Paul Rogers and Paul Carrack.

@ian bremner I was listening to Rod Stewart on the radio today and James definitely had the voice and the control. Rod recorded some nice songs but he ain't James.
