Robin Trower - Rock Me Baby Lyrics
Rock me baby, rock me all night long
Rock me baby, honey, rock me all night long
I want you to rock me baby like my back ain't got no bone
Roll me baby, like you roll a wagon wheel
Want you to roll me baby
You don't know how it makes me feel
Rock me baby, honey, rock me slow
Yeah, rock me pretty baby, baby rock me slow
Want you to rock me baby till I want no more
Rock me baby, rock me all night long
Rock me baby, honey, rock me all night long
I want you to rock me baby like my back ain't got no bone

DEWAR SORRY RIP
super super melodie rock my beybi
Mejor versión de Rock me baby 🎸 del fabuloso Robin Trower 😎
this type of rock sound just isn't around anymore - Robin Trower is a true master in what he does and so was James Dewar and we must not forget about the drummer Bill Lordan
What is it about this beat that so touches my soul?
Trower is in his seventies now and still plays with the passion of a much younger man.RT has the best live guitar tone of anyone I have ever seen.If you get a chance to see him play live do it.
what a bluesy style Robin has, as good or better than most.
Saw Him at Oakland Coliseum also.🙌🙌🙌🙌💓💓💓🎵🎶❗❗❗
I was 16 and was there also. lived in San Jose and frequented
Winterland on the weekends....❗❗❗❗❗🎶🎵🎶🎵🙌🙌💓👍👍
I feel so blessed .Some of THE BEST music memories of my life.🙏

First time I saw Robin was Radio City in 77. Derringer opened Great show Still a fan today
A sudden surge of testosterone
Ive seen this great guitarist so many times i always go to the front of the stage so i can feel the power that his band gives you they are amazing i do recommend anyone to see him because he truly one of the best i just wish he gets in to the hall soon he has earned his place to be there and i want him to see it so robin keep playing and ill will be seeing you soon thank you for all you do for all of your fans
he should be in the HOF! he was nominated with Procol Harem years ago but they didn't get in either. I contacted the HOF to find out more about the nominating process. The person I spoke to also felt he deserved it but stopped short of calling the process a popularity contest. I just might have to start a petition effort!
Glory be
That's my hero, playing it like a boss
Before Stevie Ray Vaughn there was Robin Trower
Killer tone!
Hip, hip. Harrah!$$$$$$$$
Awesome vibrato, awesome tone, awesome dynamic. A true inspiration for all musicians.
Best of the Best Robin Trower can’t be beat
That's the truth!
Hendrix who ??.....Page who ?? ...Blackmore who ??....This guy on a good night could have smoked them all !!
Jimi loved listening to other guitarists, like Buddy Guy, etc.
I think Jimi would have enjoyed listening to Trower immensely.
We tend to think of the greats as locked into some kind of musical arm wrestle, but they often appreciate each others' work.
Robin Trower
RT & Johnny Winter were the closest we had when Jimi left. -Class of 74
So true billyclub, idolised Johnny Winter loved Robin's music especially with James Dewar
Frank Marino
Add Frank Marino
What a treat, probably only unrecognised because the face didn’t fit, what a waste
I was 16 and right in front of the stage....
Wow!👍
Lucky bastard
BADASS LOVE U !!!!!!
Wow, big bends, stinging vibrato, tone...what a night, that Ides of March 42 years ago!
OMG... Did U have to remind me of the time sequence?
Sh*t. I was 16 and had front row seats at Winterland &
Oakland Coliseum. wow.👍💓🙌🎵🎶🙏
Trower always delivers. While he is one of my favorites, I still miss James Dewars. When I heard that he had passed away it was devastating as he was my influence to pick up the bass. His voice was killer and was always anticipated as one of rocks best. Trower just keeps on trucking and I sure am glad. Thanks for the vid.
You're right. No one can ever fill Dewar's shoes. 💔
Robin is great here...but his band are pedestrian. Such a shame the backing is woefully bad. I know a lot will disagree but imagine Mitch or Ginger on Drums and Jack or Andy Fraser on bass. Any suggestions for vocals would be welcome.
You can make an argument on the bass and drums but on vocals, I agree with Brad Nelson. James Dewar is the best white blues singer I have ever heard - one of the best singers period, regardless of color or nationality.
No I can't hear it I'm afraid. My loss I guess.
Jack Bruce played with him during the 80s and I think I prefer James.
There was never a singer to follow James that could compare or compliment robin.
The drummer did what he was supposed to do.
My suggestion for vocals...James Dewar. Ginger on drums would have been too much...too busy. The bass is perfect. Trowers' bands have always had a degree of understatement.
And you're a musician?
such a tight band stunning performance
One of my absolute favourite Trower songs
As much as I like the likes of Satriani and Vai and Nuno and the Malmsteen in certain doses, can you honestly imagine putting Robin, Jimi, Gary and Stevie on the same stage just once instead, I know the present 4 would just faint.
Frightening Fact Virtuosos and super technique is the Olympics, to me not real art unless it hits your soul, Robin has got the directions to mine
They all stand alone....I come from mostly the latter group named...although I like them all- me being a guitar player of course....Trower being my main influence.
OMG...What a show!❗❗❗❗🎵🎶🎶🎵🙌🙌💓👍
Robin shared a few tricks with Jimi about atmospheric dynamics and Jimi returned the favor by sharing, the higher pass chord sweeps. ....guaranteed!
Robin Hendrix or Jimi Trower, -makes zero difference at that point.
They knew one another and were good mates, they both clearly inspired one another, no doubt about it.
That tone...THAT TONE!!
Saw him at Royal Oak Theater twice. put me in a trance. just like he's supposed to.
I had front row in Denver...trance indeed!
Yeah, Saw him at the Flint IMA Just incredible. He came to lots of venues in MI
as a guitarist, Trower blows me away. He's hard to nail down, though.
I went to see Robin in a dinky bar in my hometown Middletown Ohio in the 80's and he did 2 sets and was absolutely fantastic. I have always loved him and his telling of the blues. Made me happy and sad at the same time. He was so flipping good. The place was packed and he was VERY well received. A nice guy too. Never got the appreciation he so richly deserves.
Saw him at House of Blues in Dallas, Him and his band burned the place down !! Trower Power!!
Thank you for this
I was there!
Can you prove that? :)
You are one lucky dude!
Oh God I hate you so much. Okay okay I'm just jealous
Sweet!!👍 I saw them in '76 Chgo. The best!🎤🎸🎶
We're getting 'older'. ✌🏼
Has always been one of my fav trower tunes!
Jesus Christ, this is some of the best Trower I have ever heard. Wonderful !!!!!

+Willem Aartman how long have you been stupid Willem?
Robin Leonard Trower (born 9 March 1945) is an English rock guitarist and vocalist who achieved success with Procol Harum during the 1960s
I could listen to Robin and the band for days and still not be board with the music....same thing with jimi and also mahogany rush...theres something special with these bands...guitar heros maybe ...
@Da Cappo Dick head
Yes I agree, BANDS now days aren't nothing like the band's befor and never ever will be no matter how hard they try to it just won't happen..!!
Some we may like but the new BANDS just don't have the same sound , or that something what we like of the old BANDS
@@Ernslinger... Agreed, I wouldn´t even bother wasting a second replying to those type of comments. You´re only dignifying them undeservedly by replying. But I understand the impulse...
The blues baby.
