Believe me, I don't cry at ANYTHING, films, books, music etc, however much I love them. Anything apart from this, that is. It is so deeply Spiritual and eternal, it grips me and doesn't let go. And as for the last bit when her voice starts to soar towards it's close, I'm broken down.

One of the most inspiring songs ever written

I grew up listening to Mother singing and playing Roberta flack records all my life. hearing her singing anything always touches my soul. makes me think of mom. and I here her voice everytime I hear Roberta flack sing ANYTHING.

My experiences with religion has turned me into an agnostic but I fell this song is very spiritual. Its unfortunate that the evangelical's of today do not follow the words and spirit of Jesus
instead preach bigotry and hatred instead of love and tolerance. If Jesus were to appear today he would be crucified and to religious conservatives would provided the nails.
