Fortunate to have seen him in two small venue theater concerts. Both in PA.
Memories to last a lifetime. I did get to meet him on stage, and spoke a bit.
He was a great, but very humble man. I'll love him (deeply) forever. I was crushed when he passed. (Just shortly after seeing him.) He had put off cardiac surgery, and then when he finally was in the operating room, he passed. What a LOSS. Everything he did was 100% off the top excellent. RIP Beautiful Soul <3

The GREAT Marty Robbins. Lately I've been drawn to these Momma songs I call them. My Mom loved this kind of country. I do too but I love a fast beat with a little more ump to it. But lately...... I've become Momma Rosie.

The old-style country stood out. They dressed to impressed. Marty is different than Mel Tillis in style. But they stood out compared to these rock country artists that can't name the legends of old.
