my husband passed away 5 days ago to terminal cancer ,we had been married for 50 years ,my eldest son found this song and i loved it so this is being played at his funeral

my dad passed on October 10, 2013 and every time my daughters (6 & 8 years old) go to their grandparents house, the first thing they do is go sit in their grandfather's chair... we all miss my dad so much but it just isn't the same without my daddy

A very moving song. I remember him singing that at a rehearsal I was at. I lost my dad on April 2, 2015. I listen to this song almost every day. My mom passed away on November 20, 2014. I can not bring my self to sit in either one of their chairs. I have tried and I can smell their scents and I immediately have to get get up. Thank you Rick for writing such a beautiful song.
