He sang this to me at the Ohio State Fair in 2000.. He stood on my wheelchair arms and belted out most of the song... When he got down.. I fell into his arms and cried and after the show.. he signed my CDs... May share the photos from that night but i was so sun burned.... but worth it,...

Rick made some great songs/albums.

every time I hear this song I think about my fiancé Cilvia (yes that is how she spelled her name) who got killed in a car crash. this was my song for her back in the day from 1981 to 1998 when she was alive. I still miss her, but I do not tell my wife about this song.

This is a woman's lullaby...so beautifully sang with perfect emotion. I'm convinced he understands what it's like to love a woman with his whole inner being.  When I was just a young woman I listened to this over and over and dreamed of the day I would be loved this way.

The first time i heard this song, i fell in love with it. I played it so much until it scratched. that's a lot of playing time, but what a beautiful song. I just purchased the CD of WCD. Aaaah, the good ole days of rushing home to see Rick Springfield rocker on MTV and Rick Springfield a.k.a. Dr. Noah Drake, General Hospital....Aaaah MEMORIES!

I can so relate to these lyrics. Back in my early 20s, I was definitely a Silvia...that "scared little girl afraid of the woman inside." Such a beautiful song. I love it to this day, particularly the music bridge. Reminds me a bit of the Masters and Johnson 4 stages of arousal.

It's an amazing album that was largely ignored in the wake of Jessie's Girl. Great from song 1 till the end. What an end. "It's when I'm inside Sylvia"
