This is a beautiful song & brings back memories.

Me & my husband love watching our 4 children (who are now teenagers) open their Christmas presents & we are such a tight family unit as my parent's dont love me, they chose my heroin addict brother & his children over me & mine ~ all because they feel sorry for his grown up kids & his one in care. But thats what happens when you choose drugs over your child.

No matter how many times he is in prison my parent's still have him back & he is a vile person. But my Dad said he feels sorry for my brothers 3 kids & thats why he treats them better than my kids.

I feel sad my children are penalised for having the same parents & being raised in a stable loving home.

My dad listened to this song on thanksgiving night this year and cried his eyes out because he misses us when we were little now im married my brother is expecting his first child and my other brother has a family of his own.... the very next day he passed away.... i loveeee this song richard marx and thank you for writing it and producing it! you were my dads favorite artist and really this song he listened to i think let him know that he has done his part and was ready to go. so thank you again! R.I,P dad i love you and miss you!
