Stop comparing this with Demi's version, both are amazing, but Demi has more control and strength with her range and tone. Both singers show so much emotion, but it was the right thing giving this to Demi. Priscilla has an amazing voice, just not enough control, and Priscilla is an amazing songwriter but Demi's voice has much more control.

This song is beautiful regardless as to who is singing the lyrics. I just heard this version for the first time today. I'm a big Demi fan, but like I said, this song is just simply beautifully written, and I connect to the lyrics.

I wouldn't say that any is better than the next ... But I prefer this one because the emotion is 100 % here.... Demi's is more singing it well, which is fine but I connect to emotion not range r any of that other stuff.

I get that this girl wrote this song and it's emotional but I don't think people should be dissing Demi. Demi's range is SO much better, she sings this song so much better, Priscilla's voice cracks so much and isn't even comparable to Demi's. I know that she's put a lot of emotion in to this song but Demi does that too and she more than does the song justice so I really don't think anyone should be criticising Demi for doing this song.

How are you a singer and say this version is better when there are SEVERAL FLAGRANT pitch issues throughout.

I like this version for what it is. A demo. Demi's is better imo. She retains the emotion, yet she's more vocally proficient in her delivery.

+Scanned I don't know I like the 'cracks' they're artistic. Have you hear Sias album full of vocal cracks? That was a chart topper because of it or Beyonces Lemonade album where Sandcastle also filled with vocal 'cracks' is beautiful as balls. But then again it's whatever you like.

Actually, both versions are REALLY good. Their voices are identical and I can feel emotion in both of them. Stop arguing, they're both good.

You know I didn't dislike this version, but Priscilla simply doesn't have Demi's range and there were a great deal of problems with pitch and with her voice cracking at certain points in the song.  She did the smart thing getting Demi to perform it because Demi had the same emotional tones and was able to hit the notes better and more smoothly.  Priscilla is a wonderful songwriter.  I'm sorry, but I would be happy to just be good at ONE thing.  I absolutely love music, but when I sing dogs change their zip codes. And since I have no musical talent at all I could never write a song, so both ladies impress me a great deal and they should both be proud of and happy with the talents they have developed through a great deal of hard work.

@Patrick Ward Demis is a studio version...she sounds nothing like this live.

@Spaceandtime Really and when was the last time you heard her perform live?  The live performances I have seen are very good.  Admittedly not like the studio version, because that was clearly shot over several takes to get it just right.

@Patrick Ward Completely disagree. Demi's live Stone Cold performance is riddled with cracking voice and other issues, yet it's one of the most beautiful performances I've ever heard from her. It's about the passion and emotion of the performance, not so much how smooth and pretty the voice sounds. Priscilla displays far more heart felt emotion and passion singing this than Demi does. I love Demi's version of In Case, but Priscilla absolutely kills this in the best way possible!

But obviously the only way Demi would be able to use this song for her album is if it was sold to her. Priscilla is a songwriter, she sells her songs. That's what she does ppl.. Watch out her little snippets of songs she's working on. I'm a fan of both!

That's not how it works. It's still Priscilla's song, she could release her own version if she wanted. Buying a song doesn't mean you own it, it just means you are allowed to record it.

That's kinda how works music business. Songwritters sometimes wrote songs, and then sit on them for years, b4 they get recorded by another artist. My Demi's version will have some lyrics changes or melody ( like she did w/ Heart Attack). Selena did the same w/ Katy Perry " Rock God".
