Regina Spektor - The Noise Lyrics
All the power of my voice can't compare
With the power of a quiet whisper
Still, it's a choice, and I choose to rage
Instead of ever quietly listening
I can't hear you... I can't hear you through this noise
I can't hear you through the noise
All the power of my words can't compare
With the power of a silent answer
Still, it's a choice, and I choose to rage
Ignoring all those silent answers
I can't hear you... I can't hear you anymore
I can't hear you... I can't hear you through this noise
The noise

i have yet to find one single song of Regina's that i DONT like. its pretty damn amazing.
Regina just posted this link as part of her songs' research ❤
thalberg grand caprice
Is this song about loss?
This song is so fucking underrated!!!!
Regina has opened up a whole new world for me with her music 💜
this song make me feel like a child again, innocent, without a shield. love regina <3
me too. She always brightens my day:)
I dream to one day see her in concert
I love it 😍
The subtle accent is so cute! Oh and the song is amazing too (as are all her songs ). I just feel happy and deeply touched by everything she makes oh my god
I love this song so much. I don't understand how anyone could not love Regina Spektor!
I know ! Idiocy seems like the only plausible explanation.
I'm a big Regina fan and the first time I heard this song it brought a tear to my eye.
i just watched a short film called "light is calling," and i was reminded of this song. it's a string composition against 8 minutes of decaying film from the 20s, and it's really beautiful. it's on youtube- if you like this song you should definitely check it out :)
i get shivers whenever i hear her sing <3
Wait what this was live?! Whoa.
a video with 20,000+ view and NO dislikes... shes that good...
I love this comment of yours. Just gave it try. It works. :)
2:24 <3
I could wake up to this song, listen to it on a rainy drive home and to sleep when i go to bed.

"Respekt the will of others, and believe in your own"
It's 11:21 p.m. and I just want to sleep with this playing
this song is a blanket i can just cuddle up in
BEST SONG EVER:):):)
@Lilyfloss haha i think that means me right? nice to see you:):):)
One time I sat on the floor and I listened to this and I cried . a lot .
It's quite John Lennon-esque.
She is just so astounding.
I have replayed this at least fifteen times and I do not plan on stopping any time soon. I absolutely love the volume and the quality of the music she pumps out--every time I search her name, I find another inspiring song, new to me. She sings to a part of me that is aching and quiet, and pulls it up to the surface. Though I pay for her music, I actually feel indebted to her. I hope she knows how great she is.
THIS is the only noise i wanna hear!
So amazing
why arent there more views?
