Redding, Otis - Ole Man Trouble Lyrics

Ole man trouble, leave me lonely
Go find you someone else to pick on
I live my live now you see
Ole man trouble
Please stay away from me, oh now
Ooh oh yeah,yeah

Oh, I look like I'm down in my luck
Please send faith to just help pick me up
I've lived this way so many years, now
Ole man trouble
Please wash away all my fears, oh now
Good God Almighty, help me

Sometimes, sometime I get a little worried
Ole man trouble, please please
Stay away from me
Ole man trouble, Ole Man Trouble
Stay away from me, satay away
You're nothing but trouble
Just stay away, stay away
Stay away, just please
Ole man trouble

    Quel accompagnement incroyable

  16. R.... H....

This is not the original version of this song I don't know why they're playing that and trying to say it's off of Otis Blue but it is not the original version! The original version is nowhere near this fast and it's more choppy and more bluesy sound they need to put the original version on

  17. D.... M....

This song makes me wanna cry

    D.... M....

  25. H.... R....

Mono version of ole man trouble blows away the fake stereo version. Stereo deleted that great organ. Try them both...i lost the great mfsl c.d in the flood last yr. Dammit Louisiana weather

  26. H.... M....

Take that ugly chic off the front and put the real deal and its complete

  27. M.... ....

I mostly listen to a lot of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, etc. Recently, I've been listening to Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes and The Who. I came across Otis Blue, and I absolutely love this song. I don't really listen to soul, but I've always appreciated it (especially the classic stuff), but this just sounds amazing. I love the slow-pace, the guitar melody, and Otis' fantastic vocals. I'm buying this album.

    M.... ....

Marknetick if you love those bands and dig this, check out Hey Jude by Wilson Pickett. Duane Allman plays an epic guitar solo on it, Clapton heard it and had to find out who it was, if it wasn't for that song Derek and The Dominoes may have never existed.

    M.... ....

@The Peacemakers oh yeah...Duane Allman on Hey Jude!!!

  28. A.... P....

I like r&b but southern r&b music is the best nothing like it at all Otis Redding ray Charles Issacs Hayes for example.

  31. s.... ....

Otis - King of Soul. Met the great Steve Cropper a few times & was over the moon when I mentioned how much I love this record, & he said it was one of his all time favorites!

    s.... ....

Cropper is excellent on this, as is everyone else involved...

  32. R.... ....

  37. A.... C....

Otis Redding was a true ambassador of R & B / Soul. one of my favorite songs, brings back old memories.

  38. m.... ....

in my humble opinion the only other Soul Singers who could hang with Otis"Rockhouse" Redding, was James Carr and O.V. Wright both of these cats are from Memphis go figure

    m.... ....

    +mrstanbmw too true my man

  39. K.... R....

King Rino aka Daddy Fergs will and always love the late great Otis songs. All of his songs inspired me to do and reach for love in my heart.

  40. M.... I....

    MISS THE 60S SOUL MUSIC

  41. O.... ....

I agree with so many others--this is one of the all-time great albums. 50th anniversary special ltd edition VINYL double LP (mono and stereo) with bonus 45 on blue vinyl of "I've Been Loving You Too Long" comes out Sat. Apr 18, 2015. Go to web site RecordStoreDay dot com to find participating independent record store near you.

  42. J.... G....

It seem unbelievable that Redding recorded this when he was only 24 years old!!!!

(Sure, he'd been singing professionally since he was 15, but still!)

    J.... G....

And to think of the songs he wrote at that age, it's astounding

  43. K.... M....

This is pure soul man, how can you not love this song.

    K.... M....

    That's What I'm saying

    K.... M....

+Kenneth Moore Simply the BEST. Otis has touched my heart again and again. Man what a loss!

    K.... M....

+Tupac Shakur Yo I thought you were dead...

    K.... M....

+Kenneth Moore This is pure soul. It can't get any better than this. The musicians are playing what they feel. Thats what the blues is all about.

  44. B.... L....

    Merveilleux...

  45. W.... H....

When my big brother moved out of the house, he left this and a few other albums. For some reason he didn't come for them. His loss, my gain ☺

  46. D.... P....

Absolutely raw to the bone :)) x

  47. k.... a....

    Billy gibbons fave song

  48. N.... K....

    N.... K....

No the band played behind Otis Redding was the Bar-Kays

  49. N.... L....

So there is a God after all...

  50. J.... S....

While all the so called big names in the business were in Mo-Town, Otis was in Memphis Tenn. His place for recording, and Atlanta, Ga. I have always loved his songs because I am a horn man and horns were the thing of that era. I can play drums and have had a few opportunities to sing in bands. But Otis was the man.

  51. J.... S....

Best Soul singer ever, I do not think James Brown, Wilson Pickett, or any of the Mo-Town people could touch this man's heart felt desire to sing the way he does. And the lyric's of his songs were deeply concentrated and embedded in his soul. I own dozens of his songs and I sing them karaoke as well. In 1965 Otis Redding was truly " Mr. Pitiful, and Try a Little Tenderness, Just One More Day, My Lover's Prayer...etc.

    J.... S....

Big O is still the undisputedly Hardee's baddes ass kickinges cooldes smoodes nice's best Blueses Blues man of All All time's for all time 🔊🎼💓🛐 Keitho

  52. C.... B....

Almost best album ever is this! Persons really weren't in tuned to Mamphis is 1965. I give their ignorance to England, when the Beatles and Stones were making incandescent sounds. Yet the "sound" was purely derived from 'soul'. Listen to both side by side.

    C.... B....

Hey Craig I don't know about that I can 1965 I've been in to Otis and The Memphis Sound Jacksonville Florida William M Raines High School

  53. T.... M....

    Iron God Chamber-Masta Killa

  54. m.... y....

This version with the organ background is the keyto this version's genius. Very subtle, but it rises above the other versions.

  55. c.... ....

    RESPECT

  56. E.... ....

Best song on The Best Album Of All Time, IMO.

  58. i.... ....

    Amazing sidemen:

Steve Cropper on guitar; Donald Dunn on bass; Isaac Hayes on keys, Al Jackson Jr. on the drums, Wayne Jackson & Gene Miller on trumpets, Andrew Love on tenor sax, Fred Newman on baritone sax.

  59. M.... ....
