I appreciate it. My family and friends seem to enjoy it (while I'm in front of them....haha) but I'm not so sure of it all myself. My background is symphonic and orchestral brass wind. I picked up guitar after school just to entertain myself and its remained only as such since then. But maybe one day I'll get brave enough as you to record something and post it to my account. Who knows.....lol
Damian Thielemier oh nice! I am the opposite...I don't play in front of people (even family), but I don't mind doing videos. if I mess up I can just start over...haha. no instant repercussions. guitar is just a hobby for myself as well.
I completely understand that train of thought as well. No instant repercussions. I guess with my playing in symphony I didn't have to be absolutely perfect, there was a supporting cast of about 100 others. And that holds true for live solo performance, camera involved or not. If it's a hobby you enjoy, do it, and show it. Other people will like it, in some fashion or another. I know I've had enough support to say that if I did something recorded, someone would like it, or at least watch it and tell me they like it. You know what, I owe you a big thank you. I think I'll go ahead and try to record something and post it. It may take a bit to get something of a listenable quality (I only have a mobile and a slightly better than crap tablet) but I think I'll give 'er and do a song.
