Reba McEntire - I Won't Mention It Again Lyrics

I know you're tired of being all I ever wanted
You no longer feel the love I have for you
What happens now, what will I do with all the memories
And the dreams of all the things we'll never do

But I won't mention it again
I won't think about tomorrow
Just let it happen
Live each hour day by day
But let me tell you before you go, how much I love you
Then I won't mention it again
I won't mention it again

I feel my life
Has reached an early sign of autumn
In my heart the leaves are falling, love is cold
And everything that once was warm and new is gone now
Leaving nothing but this hunger in my soul

  2. I.... C....

Does anyone remember from which concert that song is from?!?

  3. w.... h....

Beautiful arrangement and words of truth.

  4. j.... s....

The proof that she's special and a class act is when she said the divorce wasn't her idea and she didn't want it but she just wants everybody to be happy. That takes a special person to feel like that after being hurt

  5. j.... j....

What a wonderful surprise to find this! Thank you!

  6. t.... b....

    Outstanding as always.

  7. G.... T....

She does an outstanding job interpreting this song not to mention a wonderful arrangement !

  8. T.... ....

The only cover of Ray's original that's worthy

    T.... ....

TheRatshooter this is one of those songs that shouldn't be re done...after ray price sang it...no1 better than him

Reba's interpretation is pretty good. This song is very hard to sing live. Yes, I agree with you that Ray Price's one is way out incomparable. He displays his complete vocal range (especially the low notes). Reba's musical arrangement is pretty good too, but Ray's is superb (I think it was done by Cam Mullins). Greetings from Argentina.

    Beautiful, talented lady!

She's always been one of my favorite country singers and in limited roles a decent actress. I have to comment though, for some reason here, she seems to be sliding into a lot of notes. I guess I still hear this as a younger Ray Price tune.

All the money in the world can't buy class. Either you have it or you don't. Reba has it. Love this remake as much as I loved Ray Price singing it.

  13. K.... P....

my favorite singer ..luv her songs

  14. S.... ....

Wow. She sure did this one justice. Especially when you consider she had gone thru losing her band in that horrific plane crash. But them again she's always been perfect, all the way thru from the National Finals Anthem. Thank God Red Steagle was in the grand stands that day & got her a contract. Long live Reba & Susie. She's good too.

  15. R.... H....

this is beautiful. I think this is now my favorite song I have heard her sing

  16. R.... ....

@foxesloveseagles That was Take It Back

  17. J.... J....

Outstanding Reba! I like they she did this song, keeping true to the Ray Price original. I bet he loved hearing you do it.

  18. S.... ....

@iloverebanmcentire I lvoe her too & she does a great job on any song she does; however, have you heard the original by Ray Price? THAT will turn on your tear machine for sure. Keep your hankies close!

  19. C.... ....

I love this song and it makes me cry every time :(

  20. d.... ....

I think that was one of her "live by request" performances either Take It Back or Why Haven't I Heard From You.

I got a digital download from a record store, they just burn it on to a disc for you. It's a good option if you don't like internet payments. You don't get cover art though.

  22. d.... ....

Me too. I love everything on her Starting Over album
